Central Penn Bank & Trust Celebrates Employee Professional Achievements

Central Penn Bank & Trust is proud to recognize two team members for their recent professional accomplishments, reflecting the bank's ongoing commitment to excellence and employee development. Tish Naugle has earned the Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential, and Ashley Boop has successfully graduated from Pennsylvania Bankers Advanced School of Banking. These achievements demonstrate their dedication to expanding their knowledge and expertise while strengthening the service Central Penn Bank & Trust provides to its customers and communities.

Tish Naugle has 14 years of experience in human resources, payroll, and employee relations and joined Central Penn Bank & Trust in 2021 (formerly The Northumberland National Bank). Throughout her career, she has held a variety of roles, including administrative assistant, executive assistant, human resource specialist, payroll and office manager, and employee relations, with a consistent focus on supporting and serving employees.

Tish earned her SHRM-CP (Society for Human Resource Management – Certified Professional) certification in May 2026.
She credits Central Penn Bank & Trust with providing her the opportunity to expand her knowledge and further develop her expertise in human resources so she can continue to serve as a resource for the bank’s employees.

A lifelong resident of the Selinsgrove area, Tish resides there with her husband. They have three adult children and are expecting their first grandchild. She serves as Secretary on the Board of the Selinsgrove Fair Association and enjoys spending time with family and friends. In her free time, Tish enjoys spontaneous road trips, especially those that lead to the beach, mountains, or a country music concert.

The SHRM-CP (Society for Human Resource Management-Certified Professional) is a professional credential awarded to individuals who demonstrate knowledge and competency in the day-to-day practice of human resources. The certification recognizes professionals who have
the skills to implement HR policies and procedures, support employees, and manage a variety of essential human resources functions. Earning the SHRM-CP demonstrates a commitment to professional development and a strong understanding of the principles and practices that
support both employees and organizations.

Ashley Boop has more than 17 years of banking experience and joined Central Penn Bank & Trust in 2022 (formerly Mifflinburg Bank & Trust). She began her banking career shortly after high school as a part-time teller and has since held a variety of roles, including teller, universal banker, lender, and is now the Community Relationship Manager for the Lewisburg branches. Throughout her career, each position has expanded her knowledge and strengthened her passion for community banking.

Ashley graduated from the Pennsylvania Bankers Association’s Advanced School of Banking in July 2026. She is also a 2022 graduate of Leadership Susquehanna Valley.

Ashley resides in Mifflinburg with her husband and their two sons. She is actively involved in the community, serving on the boards of the Union County Hospital Authority, Mifflinburg Football Boosters, and Wildcats Boys Basketball. In her free time, Ashley enjoys attending her sons' sporting events, vacationing, and baking.

The Advanced School of Banking is a rigorous three-year, college-level program designed to strengthen participants' financial services knowledge, leadership abilities, and industry expertise. The program prepares banking professionals for increased leadership responsibilities
and continued growth within their organizations.
