Our Story

Central Penn Bank & Trust was formed through the coming together of two long-standing community banking institutions: The Northumberland National Bank and Mifflinburg Bank & Trust.

For generations, both organizations served the people, families, farms, and businesses of Central Pennsylvania by building relationships, supporting local communities, and providing trusted financial guidance. In 2025, those shared values and commitments became the foundation of a new community bank with a unified vision for the future.

Today, Central Penn Bank & Trust proudly serves customers across the Susquehanna Valley and surrounding communities. While our name has changed, our commitment remains rooted in the relationships, local knowledge, and personalized service that have defined community banking in our region for decades.
