Can I open an account online?
Yes. You can conveniently open a personal checking account, Regular Savings Account, and select regular Certificate of Deposit (CD) products online. Business accounts, Club and Youth Savings Accounts, PAUTMA accounts, IRAs, HSAs, and Featured CD products must be opened in person at a Central Penn Bank & Trust office.
What do I need to open an account?
To open a personal account, you will typically need the following:

What do I need to open a business account?
Business account requirements vary based on your business structure and filing type. A Central Penn Bank & Trust team member will be happy to explain the documentation needed for your specific business.
Are my deposits FDIC insured?

How can I have funds wired into my Central Penn Bank & Trust account?

Do you charge a fee to cash a check?
No. We do not charge a fee to cash a check drawn on Central Penn Bank & Trust. A valid government-issued photo ID is required.
What is a Currency Transaction Report (CTR)?
Federal law requires financial institutions to report cash or coin transactions totaling more than $10,000 conducted by, or on behalf of, one person in a single business day. Multiple transactions may be combined when determining the total. These transactions are reported on Currency Transaction Reports, commonly called CTRs. Filing a CTR is a federal requirement and does not mean a customer has done anything wrong. Information is collected and reported in accordance with federal regulations and customer privacy requirements. What should I do if my debit card is lost, stolen, or shows unauthorized transactions?
Call 800-754-4128 immediately to report a lost or stolen card or suspected debit card fraud.
If you use the Central Penn Bank mobile app, you can also place a temporary freeze on an eligible debit card using built-in card controls until you are able to speak with us.

Can I manage my debit card from my phone?
Yes. The Central Penn Bank mobile app includes built-in controls for eligible debit cards, allowing you to monitor activity and temporarily turn your card on or off.
Can I deposit a check using my phone?
Yes. Mobile Deposit is available through the Central Penn Bank mobile app for eligible accounts and checks, allowing you to make deposits from nearly anywhere.
How do I enroll in Digital Banking?
